Custom Launcher

Custom launchers allow users to open applications using credentials from Secret Server. For example a user can run PowerShell as an administrator, open SQL management Studio as a defined user or any application that can be configured. Some possible applications that could be configured for a custom launcher include: VPN clients, FTP applications, Remote Access tools, or almost any application that uses privileged credentials on startup.

Remote Desktop Launcher

The Remote Desktop launcher (RDP) will launch a Windows Remote Desktop session and automatically authenticate the User into a machine. This works with AD accounts, local Windows accounts and even with machines that are not domain joined.

PuTTY Launcher

The PuTTY launcher will open a PuTTY session and authenticates the user into any system running UNIX or Linux. This works with any *NIX system that supports SSH.

Web Launcher

The Web Launcher provides a convenient one click approach to automatically log into websites. The Web Launcher can be used by clicking the Launcher icon on a Secret View page. The Web Launcher will open a new window or tab in the browser which will login to the site using the credentials on the Secret.
