Organizing Secrets with Folders

Secrets can be organized into folders to seperate based on customers, geography, business units or teams (eg. DBAs, UNIX admins and Windows Server Admins). Folders can be nested within other folders at any number of levels to represent a useful structure.

Setting permissions at the Folder level will ensure future Secrets in that Folder have the same assigned permissions and makes managing access easier. Permissions can be customized on folders and subfolders to specify which actions are allowed on specific Secrets.

Inheritance of permissions through folders simplifies access control.
