We are seeing many more Motorola Droid handhelds; are there plans for an application for this platform?

Michael,
We are currently working on several mobile projects: * Updating iPhone app to support folders * Beta of our BlackBerry app (due out in 3-4 weeks) * Beta of our Windows Mobile app (due out in 6-8 weeks)
I will add your feature request for a Droid app and will check with the team and will get back to you.
Best.

We are definitely seeing a faster uptick on Android devices in our customer base.
As a long time user of Windows Mobile, I know this platform has hit a large bump on the road and that it is being revamped for Windows Mobile 7 this xmas. I have an HTC Pro2 and would love to use an app now before I replace my phone with something else, so it is great that you guys are building for Windows Mobile today.
If you have the resources to hit all the platforms: Apple, Google, WindowsMobile - I think you would be rewarded for that.

Just an update for everyone on the all platform question:
* iPhone app - update with folder support and offline caching will go out to beta group next week. * BlackBerry app - beta went out today. * Windows Mobile app - beta is about 3-4 weeks away. * Droid app - the app is in development and a beta will be available in 5-6 weeks.
Thanks for the feedback!

Michel,
We do have a teaser movie of the Droid app on the blog. http://thycoticblog.wordpress.com/2010/07/07/sneak-preview-of-the-secret-server-app-on-droid/
The team is currently finishing up the BlackBerry app for official release and will be tackling the Droid app after that.
Thanks for your feedback! :-D

FYI - the official Secret Server BlackBerry app has been submitted a few days ago - we are just waiting on RIM now!

Larry,
At present, the Windows Phone 7 is in development and we hope to have a Beta out soon. Look for teaser screen captures for this within the next few days.
I am uncertain of the status of the Android App and will have to check with the development team for an update.
best, Scott Thycotic Software

So has this been released yet?
If not will it be out for this century, or even decade
Thanks

No, the Android app is still under development. We will update this post when the release date is known.

We just replaced 10 Blackberry devices with Android phones. Hopefully this is coming soon! Logging in via the web is lousy. Is there any update as to when this should be expected or can we help test it?

Nathan-
We are currently hard at work on the Android version. We are hoping to push a beta preview with limited functionality in the next few weeks. With the Android landscape so diverse, it would be helpful to get and idea of which devices people are using. Can you tell me to which devices you have switched?

Hi Jimmy,
We're using the HTC G2 / Desire Z phones with a QWERTY keyboard. All phones are currently equipped with OS 2.3.2.
As these phones have a physical keyboard, landscape mode is important.

We are preparing to release the beta in a matter of days and I wanted to get a sense of who watching this thread was cabable of directly installing an APK verus having to post a private beta in the Android Marketplace.
We typically prefer to distribute the beta privately but I was told that some carriers prevent direct loading of APKs outside the Marketplace.

We can directly install the APK file no problems. It's convenient if it can be installed via the Android Market later though as it makes updates much easier.
