We're currently in the process of setting up our Secret Server folder structure. I've had numerious requests already by our users to include a place where they can securely store their own personal yet business related passwords. Initially I was thinking about creating a Users folder and then have a a folder for each user under that. Only the user and perhaps the admin would have access to the folder. It seems though like that might be a maintenance nightmare to setup then keep up-to-date. Any suggestions here for best practices or recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks!

Adam - I am checking with the product owner to see if this would be possible to automate. (Many customers do have this type of structure today ...)

That would be great if there would be an option to automatically create and secure a user folder as part of setting up a new user within Secret Server.

Product Owner has confirmed that this is on roadmap - it will be an option under "Users" to automatically manage and create these folders. I will post when we have an expected release date for this.
One option in the meantime - if you want to create a large number of these folders initially would be to use the XML import (under Tools) - this is an easy way to create lots of folders.
