Secret Server version 8.0 is the last version to officially support new installations on Microsoft Windows Server 2003 and Windows XP. Going forward we will be deprecating these operating systems for Secret Server installation. For existing customers, Secret Server will continue to run on Windows Server 2003 and Windows XP, but we encourage customers to upgrade to Server 2008 R2 or newer. Server 2003 has reached end of mainstream support and moving to newer platforms will streamline technical support and development processes to provide a better experience for our customers. -- Thycotic Development Team
