I'm running a trial of SecretServer and trying to get the remote agents feature to work, but with limited success. I can install the agents on the remote machines and then activate them on the server, but whenever I try to retrieve the agent logs or do anything with the secrets associated with the agents I get an error on the top of the webpage that says: "Exception on Agent, Check the Agent log or Agent Computer's Event Log for details." If I check the application event log on the reomte machine I find a corresponding event with this data: Error in Call Method. Exception: System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. at Thycotic.ihawu.Business.DoubleLock.Cryptography.SymmetricEncryptor.EncryptOrDecrypt(Byte[] bytes, SymmetricKey key, InitializationVector iv, Boolean decrypt) at Thycotic.ihawu.Business.DoubleLock.Cryptography.SymmetricEncryptor.Decrypt(Byte[] bytes, SymmetricKey key, InitializationVector iv) at Thycotic.ihawu.AgentService.RemoteAgentClient.RpcAgentServerCallBack.CallMethod(Byte[] encryptedMethodName, Byte[][] args) I've tried installing SecretServer on machines in our domain as well as outside of it, and with agents on several different computers in different networks/domains, all with the exact same problem. I'm installing SecretServer in accordance with the official documentation. Has anyone seen this before?

5/22/2012 7:55:44 AM Dennis J Posts: 2	I should add that DoubleLock is not activated (haven't even set a password for it) and TCP 9999 is open in concerned firewalls.
