We have always wanted to use this functionality, but never implemented it because it just never works. Documentation on troubleshooting is non-existent. I've got everything setup the way it should but I can never get Secret Server to update the password on a scheduled task for that secret. It just never run's. I cant find any logs that can help troubleshoot this. Using the finder is good for services but doesnt work for for tasks. Im not even sure if I'm giving the right name to the dependency (i.e. it took me reading the manual to find that you have to use aspnet_state rather than the actual service name, is that the case for a scheduled task? my task is called "sstest". Any additional documentation to help troubleshoot getting all this going?
