You can remove the permission " View Launcher Password" from the Role(s) the user belongs to. See section 5.b of the user guide here:

With this permission removed, the password will never be visible if it is launcher enabled. If it is not a launcher enabled secret, they will be able to unmask the password as normal.

If you have VIEW to a secret, then you can view the password.]]> Wed, 09 Mar 2011 11:18:24 GMT
