Hello, I have an event subscription that will notify me with an e-mail if a secret expires in a selected folder. It looks like this: Secret Expires 7 Days In Folder: RED
My question is: If I have a subfolder within the folder RED (Call it folder BLUE so the full path is \RED\BLUE) and BLUE has a secret in it that expires, will the event subscription I created above (Secret Expires 7 Days In Folder: RED) still work for that sub folder?
If not is this something that could be put in a future release? The way we set up our folder structure is pyramidical with team leaders wanting to get event notifications on all secrets that their direct reports (In folders within their team folders) are responsible for.
I figure a work around is to select each folder individually but I’ll have to keep an eye on that if any of the users make additional folders.
Thanks

Steven,
At present there is no way to configure events to be fired on sub-folders the way you describe above. I can definitely see the value in this and will submit it as a feature request.
Thank you, Scott Santos Thycotic Software
